8-14-03 Dyno Runs

The time has finally come to see some dyno results from the new setup. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned (as always). i was ramping up in boost and was then planning on tuning. When I attempted a 25psi run, I hit fuel cut. This was perplexing as I have the AFM output clamped to just below the FCO point. After hitting FCO, I blew the rest of my dyno time attmepting to find out why i hit FCO. I never really came up with any definitive answer, but I did have a code 51, which means the ECU wasn't reading load correctly and could have easily changed the point at which FCO occured. Note that NO tuning was done for any of the runs, A/F was sub 10 for all of them.

Important mods at the time of the dyno runs: HK$ 1.2mm metal hg, ARP head studs, K&N FIPK, Lexus V8 AFM, 2.5" IC hardpipes, SS t-bolt clamps, Tial BOV, Isuzu NPR large IC, Delphi 680cc injectors, Walbro 255 Lph high pressure fuel pump (12V constant), 6AN SS line to/from firewall/fuel rail, Cartech Billet AFPR, custom front-inlet intake manifold, mildly ported head, custom shorty header, SP57, Tial 38mm WG, full 3" exhaust, no cat, 3" ss thermal research straight thru muffler, Fidanza 10lb Al flywheel, SPEC stage 3 clutch, Greddy Profec A, Blitz FATT, complete Greddy E-manage system
